Tucson's Winter Weather and other ramblings...yeah, I tend to do that...

I love the way Tucson does winter. Seriously. Where else can you get snow capped mountains without having to shovel snow to see them? A little frost on the ground in the morning, and then a long sleeved t-shirt to see you through the rest of the day. It is lovely. In this month alone I can't count the number of times I have seen one of the boys running past without a shirt on. In January. Perfection. Now, if I could just have this and the beach within a short distance and I would be one happy woman! Next weekend we are taking a drive up to Mt. Lemmon to let the boys play in the snow. I can't wait to take some pictures!

On a side note, somewhat unrelated, but I am random like that, just ask my sister...I think this hawk was eying my Dixie.


And I will admit, with her floppy little ears, she is rather delicious...


Seriously, how patient is this dog? It is a little out of focus, because I think I took it while I was trying to extricate her from Franklin's grasp...but I am not afraid to show my little imperfections, such as not being able to take a decent photo, while running to save a tiny dachshund from certain terror...


Hopefully I will have some more photos to post before the week is out. Lately work has been pretty stressful and there is less time to take pictures and blog my random comments about them.

This is the day that our Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad! I am so thankful for my wintery view, my sweet boys and that stinky little puppy that is slowly chewing up any item that I hold dear. But I am thankful nonetheless!
