Finding peace in where I am, and with who I am.

Today, I had such a lovely time speaking with a good friend, and as we talked I realized how much I need peace in who and where I am. God has given me so much, and yet I want more. Contentment is so hard to obtain...when sought for contentment's sake...true contentedness can only be found in God. I had made a New Year's resolution to keep up on laundry, spend more time with my boys and be a better friend, but I think I missed something greater...so I am amending my resolutions.

In 2010, I want to:

1. Have peace with where I am, and with who I am. I want to be content with where He has me.

2. I will have an adventure...or at least I will seek to have the attitude that one might have on an adventure. I will be excited for the unexpected, I will look forward to new things and I will document it all with the camera!

3. I will stay on top of the chores around the house, but not at the expense of time with family.
